Fleet Services Building
Initially Fleet services shared this building with Station 255 apparatus and crew. When the building was designed it had fleet services in mind and several building modifications were made (like extra power). As our fleet program grew and we started taking on other agencies as customers we quickly discovered that there was not enough room for fleet and Station 255 apparatus. In 2020 a new building was built about 175 feet to the West for Station 255 apparatus, leaving the original 3 bay building just for Fleet Services. An office and fluids room were added to the North side of the building to help improve operations. All of our EVT Certified technicians are cross trained as EMT / Firefighters! This gives RFPD two extra firefighters around Monday through Thursday when Fleet is working!
